Our Story

Founded in 2024, our mission is to promote physical fitness, mental discipline, and a strong sense of community through the practice of Kuk Sool Won. We believe that martial arts are for everyone, regardless of age or experience.

Nikki Robertson (SBN)

School Owner & Chief Instructor

SBN Nikki is Kuk Sool Won Linlithgow's school owner. Working alongside her Instructor Team she will ensure all our students receive a well-balanced and structured Martial Arts experience. SBN Nikki has over 25 years teaching experience in Education, Martial Arts, and Youth Engagement.
She is a 4th Degree Black Belt and has competed in WKSA Tournaments around the world achieving many gold medals and a Grand Champion awards.
She was a member of the WKSA European Ladies Demonstration Team for 4 years and trained and took part in demos in the UK, Spain and Germany.
SBN Nikki has completed numerous Safeguarding Adults and Children and Young People courses throughout her employment. She is a qualified First Aider and Mental Health First Aider. She looks forward to welcoming you to Kuk Sool Won of Linlithgow.

Ashley Swanson (SBN)

Senior Instructor

Ashley is a dedicated black belt instructor focused on physical conditioning and competitive sparring. She assists with the intermediate and advanced adult classes, bringing a focused and energetic teaching style to the dojang.

Our Core Leadership

The Senior Instructors Team is responsible for the overall direction and quality of training at Kuk Sool Won of Linlithgow. Comprised of high-degree black belts with decades of combined experience, they craft the curriculum, oversee student development, and uphold the traditions and standards of the art. They are the backbone of our school's excellence and leadership. Each member brings unique expertise, ensuring comprehensive training in every aspect of Kuk Sool Won, from advanced forms to specialized weapons techniques.

The Student Mentors

The Instructors Assistant Team plays a vital role in the classroom, offering direct support to students, particularly those in beginner and youth classes. These dedicated colour belts help maintain energy, demonstrate proper technique, and serve as role models, ensuring personalized attention for every student during busy training sessions. Beyond the mats, they assist with school events, fostering a strong community spirit and gaining essential leadership experience for their future ranks.
